BVM students help Ludhiana win

The chess competition was held at BVM, Udham Singh Nagar, and four students from the school figured in Ludhiana district’s five-member chess team that finished at the second place. Ludhiana district secured 13.5 points to finish as runners-up, while Sangrur district scored 14 points to bag the winner’s trophy and Nawanshahr district accumulated 11.5 points to win the third position. Ravinder Singh, District Sports Officer, Ludhiana, was the chief guest at the prize distribution function. Bamba and Goyal congratulated the students on bringing glory to the school. They also appreciated Baljit Singh Gill, head of the physical education department and Sanjeev Thakur for their guidance in this achievement..
