Welfare Trust to get main road repaired

TRIBUNE IMPACTOur CorrespondentAhmedgarh, September 5Taking cognisance of reports about the pitiable condition of roads leading to Guga Mari, the venue of the forthcoming Chhapar Mela, published in these columns; followers of the chief of the Sidh Sulakhan Welfare Trust, Jatinder Sharma Happy, have come forward to carry out patchwork of the main road connecting the shrine with the local town. The proposed work being undertaken under the guidance of senior technical officers will be completed before the commencement of the fair. Sonu Malhotra, an office-bearer of the Sidh Sulakhan Welfare Trust, said the followers had contributed to get the main road from Hargobindpura to Guga Mari repaired under the supervision of Satwinder Singh, a senior functionary of the PWD. Superintending Engineer Kulwant Singh and Executive Engineer Rakesh Garg had also assured to extend required help in case of need, said Malhotra.
