PAU to host ‘Nobel Prize’ series on September 12

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, September 10Punjab Agricultural University (PAU); National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), Mohali; and Dr Gurdev Singh Khush Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, and the Nobel Foundation, are all set to host the Nobel Prize Series event at NABI on September 11 and at PAU on September 12. An initiative of the Government of Punjab, the two-day event will feature Nobel laureate Serge Haroche, who will shed light on how basic and applied science nurture each other. The theme of this year’s Nobel Prize series is ‘Teaching and Learning’. The event will feature lectures, student round tables and an exhibition at PAU. There will be three student round tables for 60 pre-chosen students with guest speakers..
