The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare through its Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare, has allocated northern region mela to GADVASU, Ludhiana. This fair will attract farmers, universities, institutions, private firms and other stakeholders from J & K, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar and Rajasthan. During the three-day fair, state agriculture and veterinary universities and ICAR institutes of North India will put up exhibitions and share all their technologies. Separate industrial exhibitions related to agriculture, veterinary, animal sciences, dairying, poultry, fisheries, horticulture and other allied fields will be displayed..
