Diversion of traffic at Jarag Chowk, Malerkotla, due to the construction work of a flyover has further compounded the problem. Though the authorities in the Railway Department normally inform the civil authorities about the scheduled closure of the level crossing at Jandali road, Jagera road and Pohir road, no diversion signs have been install to aware commuters about the need to take up alternative routes.
