COLLEGE NOTESLudhiana: A group of the Youth Red Cross volunteers of the Government College for Girls visited flood-affected villages near Phillaur under the guidance of Satveer Kaur, Red Cross in-charge of college. They distributed ration items such as packets of daal, atta, rice, tea leaves, sugar, namkeen, oil and biscuits. The volunteers also promised to do whatever they could for the victims. Manpreet Kaur bagged first position in the district and third in the university by securing 83.50 per cent.
