The tournament was organised by the Ludhiana District Cricket Association (LDCA), an affiliated body of the Punjab Cricket Association, to provide its trainees match practice and prepare them for future competitions. Yesterday, in the U-12 group, Samrat Coolers XI had defeated Ludhiana Club by 17 runs to emerge champions. In the final (U-14), batting first, Mahajan Club scored 148 runs for the loss of six wickets in 40 overs. Besides, Vansh Goel and Sandeep Mor were declared the best bowler and best wicket keeper, respectively, while Vivek Pandit was adjudged the best fielder of the tournament..
