6 have arrested six persons on the charge of gambling and recovered Rs 1.02 lakh cash from them. The suspects have been identified as Gurnam Singh of Nirankari Mohalla, Pritpal Singh of Vishawkarma Colony, Gurmeet Singh of Maan Nagar, Sanjiv of Aman Nagar, Manmohan Lal of Vishawkarma Colony, Arun Kumar and Satwinder Singh of Nirankari Mohalla, and Ramesh Kumar of Vishawkarma Colony. Investigating officer, ASI Kapil Kumar, said on receiving a tip-off about persons gambling at some place in Vishawkarma Colony, a police party conducted a raid and arrested the suspects with cash. Complainant Jatinder Kumar of Sidhupur village told the police that on November 7, his daughter had left home without informing anyone in the family.
