The conference will focus on the latest advances in hernia surgery and will also include a live operative workshop where patients will be operated at a subsidised cost. Secretary of the DMCH Managing Society-Prem Kumar Gupta lauded the effort of the Department of Surgery in organising the conference to update the knowledge and skills of surgeons of the region. Organising chairman and the unit head Dr Atul Mishra said the conference would be an academic feast for all the participating delegates.
