Kuldip BhatiaLudhiana, November 17The police have registered a case of misappropriation of funds and criminal breach of trust under Sections 409, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC against Baljeet Singh, former general manager (GM) of Ludhiana City Bus Service. In a complaint lodged with the police, Sanyam Aggarwal, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation-cum-managing director, City Bus Service of the civic body, stated that Baljeet Singh was with the City Bus Service for the last more than 10 years. The police said a case was registered after a preliminary investigation, which prima facie established allegations against the suspect. The complainant told the police that he paid Rs 8.90 crore as consideration amount of the property to the suspect. “However, the suspect neither got the sale deed registered in my favour nor did he return my money,” the complainant added..
