18 trainees present start-ups during PAU programme

Tribune News ServiceLudhiana, November 18A two-month training programme for incubatees organised at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), under the Agripreneurship Orientation Programme (Udaan) and Agribusiness Incubation Programme (Udaan), concluded today. A total of 18 trainees presented their start-ups to the RIC committee headed by JS Mahal, director, Extension Education, PAU, and principal investigator of Punjab Agri Business Incubator (PABI). Other RIC members included Parveen Bhatia, DDM, NABARD; Poonam A Sachdev, head, Department of Food Science and Technology, PAU; Manjit Singh, CEO, Bonn Breads; Satyendra Singh Choudhary, knowledge partner, PUSA Krishi Incubator, Indian Agricultural Research Institute; Baldev Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ludhiana; and Pratibha Goyal, director, School of Business Studies. Certificates were distributed to the trainees during the concluding ceremony. After the presentations by the incubatees, RS Sidhu, Registrar, PAU, congratulated the incubatees and the team of PABI for successful completion of the first training programme..
