The members of the panchayats of Hazuri Bagh, Chitti Colony, Gagandeep Colony, Bhattian Bet, Kadian and others have raised their voice against the treatment plant being setup near residential areas. They claimed that a large number of people of nearby areas will suffer if the treatment plant is set up there. People have been living there for many years and thus, will strongly oppose if construction of the treatment plant is started there.
