Batting first after winning the toss the visitors in their first essay were bundled out for a paltry score of 91 in 54 overs. At draw of stumps Ludhiana were 113 without any loss after 39 overs. Moga skipper Harish Kumar's decision to bat first turned out to be a miscalculation as their batsmen except Sagareshver Khattri and Sukhsehaj Narang failed to cope up with Ludhiana bowlers and surrendered meekly.
