On May 2, 2015, Congress workers, led by Goggi, who was also the DCC chief then, had blocked the railway track near Gurdwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib here. Sources said the Congress workers raised slogans against the SAD-BJP at the railway station.The DCC chief was aware that he would be arrested. The railway police had registered a case under Section 147 of the Railway Act against Goggi.
