COLLEGE NOTESLudhiana: International Peace Day was celebrated at the Malwa Central College of Education for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana. Students of MEd and BEd delivered speeches to emphasise the importance of peace in society followed by a pledge-taking ceremony. The students promised to make individual efforts to bring about peace in the society. Princiapl of the college, Naginder Kaur and Sukhdev Singh Sandhu, Director of the Physical Education Department, organised the whole programme and elaborated the need of peace in our life. The programme commenced with a welcome dance by students of host classes followed by a cultural programme performed by the senior students of the institute..
