Aneesh Shekar said that the goods would reach the flood-hit region in the neighbouring State by Saturday. The Corporation of Madurai had earlier sent about 10 tons of bleaching powder in 400 bags to the flood-hit Kerala, the officials said. The goods were loaded in two trucks and despatched from the Anna Maligai under the supervision of senior officials.
