While two synthetic drinking water tanks have been kept at Melanaththam, five drinking water tanks have been installed near Kurukkuthurai, Manimurtheeswaram and Peratchiamman Temple bathing ghats. Tirunelveli Corporation has erected temporary dressing rooms near the Tamirabharani at Kurukuturai in view of Tamirabharani Maha Pushkaram. Besides keeping two drinking water tanks at Melanaththam bathing ghat, the Corporation has kept ready mobile toilets and stationed a cleaning lorry at this spot. Considering the arrival of huge number of devotees, mobile toilets with cleaning lorries have been stationed at all these spots,” said V.
