MANGALURU: A 13ft long king cobra , which was trapped to the roadside fence at Savanalu village in Belthangady taluk was rescued by a snake expert on Monday.Villagers noticed the king cobra struggling to free itself after trapped to the fence by the side of Savanalu – Ayilahadime road. After successfully freeing the king cobra from the fence, it was put into a bag tactfully. Soon after receiving the information, Joy reached the spot with snake catching sticks and bag.Initially, his task was to release the highly venomous king cobra from the fence.
