Udupi: A daily-wage worker was killed and three others injured after the upper portion of a well , which they were digging, collapsed near Aloor gram panchayat in Kundapur on Thursday.The deceased is Gopala Mogaveera , 32. The injured are being treated at a private hospital in Kundapur.The incident happened when the workers were digging a huge well at Satish Hegde’s garden. Gopal’s body was taken out of the rubble with the help of two earthmovers in a rescue operation spanning three hours.Gangolli police have registered a case.
