MANGALURU: Three miscreants stopped and robbed truck driver at Shiridigudde, Golithottu village , recently.According to police, the truck loaded with sanitaryware belonging to an MNC was going towards Mangaluru from Chikkaballapur. The trio gagged and tied up the truck driver, Ambarish from Pandavapura in Mandya district, after which they assaulted him and robbed Rs 5,200 and a cell phone belonging to him. On reaching near Golithottu, three unidentified people, who came in a car, waylaid the truck. Unidentified people have damaged the goods which were being transported in the truck, said sources.
