Muzaffarnagar: A toll plaza on the Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur highway was painted saffron on the lines of government buildings and buses which got a saffron makeover after the Yogi Aditanath government took over charge in the state in 2017. In January, a boundary wall of the Uttar Pradesh Haj office in Lucknow was painted in that colour.Plaza manager Hitender Singh told TOI, “The toll plaza was designed by an architect and saffron colour was a part of the design.”Situated on the Saharanpur-Muzaffarnagar district border, the plaza is expected to begin functioning very soon.
