Hapur lynching: Autopsy report says Qasim received 10 grave injuries

Meerut: The autopsy report of Mohammad Qasim, who was lynched by a mob on the suspicion of indulging in cow slaughter in Bajera Khurd village in Hapur on June 18, reveals the brutal torture he underwent before dying. The postmortem report, details of which came out today, said the mob inflicted 10 grave injuries on his body before he finally succumbed to these.According to the report, Qasim, who was brought dead to hospital, sustained grievous external injuries, with the doctor saying there were contusions on his legs, arms and knees. TOI had earlier reported that the complainant, Mohammed Yasin , who is the younger brother of Samaydeen, claimed that police officials threatened him of dire consequences of he did not stick to the police version. There were multiple bruises on his back, and the ribs were fractured, and there were deep cuts on his shoulders, knees, near the abdomen and on the head. Earlier, Rakesh Sisodia and Harischandra from Rajput-dominated Bajera Khurd village were arrested.The local police were caught off guard after two viral videos teared the police's version that had claimed that the attack was a fallout of a road rage incident..
