The incident happened in a primary school at Lado Majri village in Thanabhawan region of Shamli district . “Reality is that I was informing my principal about the situation.” It has 47 students on its rolls.Defending the act, principal Hitesh Kumar said, “I was not in the school when the incident occurred but I did get a phone call from him (the teacher) saying that he was not feeling well. I suggested to him to rest for a while till school time was on and go home later.”Accused teacher Arvind Kumar said, “I was suffering from high fever and since there is no rest room in the school, I had no other alternative but to lie down in the classroom as no other teacher was there.” He denied showing videos to children..
