Delhi-Saharanpur highway to be developed soon

Meerut: There is good news for motorists and commuters as the 182-km-long Delhi-Saharanpur highway , riddled with potholes and lying in a state of disrepair, will soon get the much-needed facelift. “We believe that in the next six months, the first phase of the highway will be completed. The highway will be completed in three phases: The first phase is from Ghaziabad to Baghpat (meeting point of Eastern Peripheral Expressway) to Shamli by pass. The stone-laying ceremony of the highway will be done by CM Yogi Adityanath and Union minister Nitin Gadkari on September 11,” said Singh.In the second phase, the highway from Shamli to Saharanpur will be completed, and in the third phase, the road between Baghpat and Delhi will be developed. The national highway NH-709 B is 154 km long from Ghaziabad to Saharanpur..
