UP govt releases Rs 6.81 crore for over 20k out of school students

In this backdrop, out of school students were identified and enrolled in the schools. To provide these out of school children education, the government has released the first installment of the total funds i.e. Meerut: The Uttar Pradesh government has released Rs 6.81 crore– as a first installment – for the ‘out of school’ students who are undergoing special classes so as to bring them on par with other schoolgoing children. These 20,198 students will be given Rs 4500 each during their stay in the school.These ‘out of school’ children are those kids who have never been to school or forced to drop their studies midway due to some circumstances. Once the special training of the kids is completed, they will start studying in the same classes with their counterparts.According to the order, maximum number of out of school students was reported from Mirzapur (1,511)..
