Summary:

Meerut: Amidst growing clarion calls for building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya , Union minister Giriraj Singh on Sunday blamed ‘Hindus’ for the delay in the construction of the temple, saying had the ‘Ram bhakts’ got together, the temple would have been constructed years ago.The BJP leader’s remarks came during a public meeting to bring a law to control population in Baghpat.“Hindus are responsible for the delay in the construction of Ram Mandir. There would have been no hatred in the country, had a temple been constructed at the time of partition,” said Singh. But, it will be made with the support of Ram bhakts,” said Singh. He had also said that partition wouldn’t have taken place had Ram Mandir was constructed during that time“It was Nehru’s mistake that the country was divided into parts. Had people of Sanatan Dharma (Hindu religion) got together, the temple would have been constructed 72 years ago. The court has no time to listen to the issue, and it can only be built with the support of Ram bhakts,” said Singh.Earlier in October, Singh had made another controversial statement by warning Muslims of “consequences” if they do not support Ram Mandir.“Ram Mandir will be constructed there (in Ayodhya) only, and no one will be able to stop its construction..
