Bijnor: A week after violence in Bulandshahr following alleged cow slaughter, villagers from Najibabad gathered on hearing rumours of cow slaughter in the area. Villagers thought the sound was coming from the forest nearby and assumed somebody was slaughtering a cow. Some villagers heard a cow mooing in the nearby forest and informed police.
