Meerut: A video of an elderly man publicly flogging his 18-year-old son after tying him to a pillar has gone viral on social media. According to the police, the youth was brutally assaulted after he uploaded a video, in which he used the picture of a girl from the same village, on TikTok, a video sharing app. Following the panchayat’s order, the youth was assaulted by his father.
