Not paid for 3 years, 650 teachers of government-aided madrassas in UP’s Bijnor on the brink of penury

Bijnor: As many as 650 contractual teachers of government-aided madrasas in Bijnor are on the brink of penury. On Tuesday, a large number of them staged a protest at the district minority welfare office here seeking their dues. Repeated requests to the government departments have fallen on the deaf ears, they claim.In Bijnor, there are 250 such madrasas, but none of the teachers employed there have been paid the dues.
