BIJNOR: Two days after a 22-year-old girl returning from coaching was gangraped on Muzaffarnagar-Pauri Highway and later dumped, police on Friday arrested one of accused Sanjeev who had offered her lift in his car. In due course she also became friendly with the bus conductor Sanjeev who, on Wednesday, offered her lift in his own car. Later, two of his friends had joined in and committed the crime.The incident had occurred on Wednesday evening when the Muzaffarnagar-based girl was on her way to Kotdwar . Crime came to light after she reached Bijnor police station late evening, the same day.The girl told the cops that she was taking coaching at Kotdwar and frequently travelled by the same bus. Soon two of his other friends too boarded the car and gangraped her at a secluded spot before dumping her near Bijnor on NH-119.Police had registered a case against the three including Sanjeev Kumar under sec 376D and 120B of IPC..
