ADG rebuts UN experts' claim about 'extrajudicial' killings in UP

Meerut: Reacting to concerns raised by United Nations human rights experts over allegations of at least 59 alleged extrajudicial killings by police in UP since March 2017, ADG (law and order) Anand Kumar questioned the intervention of UN special rapporteurs. A total of 48 criminals were killed in the same time span though at least 70 criminals have been killed in encounters ever since the Yogi government took over in March 2017.
