Meerut: A 22-year-old youth from Delhi allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at a hotel room here on Sunday morning. He checked in at Narang Guest house in Meerut’s Delhi Gate area on Saturday evening. The deceased, Vipul Gupta, left behind a suicide note saying that he was taking the extreme step due to his drug addiction.According to police, Vipul was a resident of Bhajanpura area of Delhi and worked at a local McDonald outlet there. Family of the deceased was intimated about the incident and the body was sent for post mortem.
