After 2 swine flu deaths, health department asks doctors to take precautionary steps

MEERUT: After two swine flu deaths were reported on Monday, Meerut health department issued a fresh advisory, asking medical practitioners to ensure that such a patient visit their clinics only after taking a prior appointment. “If a person tests positive for swine flu at a private lab, his/her second sample should be sent to the microbiology laboratory at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial (LLRM) Medical College,” said Dr Kumar.
