Meerut: The Meerut unit of UP STF busted a gang of robbers and recovered gold and jewellery from their possession in a huge amount on Sunday. Police recovered mobile phones, car gold biscuits, gold coins, silver coins and Rs 3 lakh cash from their possession.“The four member gang, which was headed by Nadeem, was busted on Sunday. The arrests, which were made in Kharkhauda area, came after the thieves recently stole Rs 10 lakh form Nagpur in Maharashtra. The other three members were Waseem from Hapur, Raees from Amroha and Shehnawaaz from Hapur. We also seized seven silver coins, one platinum ring, one silver ring, two blank cheques and Rs 3 lakh cash form their possession,” said Singh.For further interrogation, they are being handed over to Maharashtra police..
