Meerut: Yogesh Verma - dubbed as the mastermind of the April 2 violence against Dalits - has 28 criminal cases against his name, lodged at various police stations in Meerut.BSP's Verma, who is now contesting as a ‘mahagathbandhan’ candidate from Bulandshahr, also has a long history-sheet dating back to 1994.He was lodged in jail after the April 2 violence and NSA was slapped after police blamed him as the main conspirator.
