Health workers trying to admit Covid patient to hospital in Meerut attacked with stones

An FIR has been lodged at the Partapur police station regarding the matter.

An FIR has been lodged at the Partapur police station regarding the matter.

“We are trying to identify others involved in the incident.

More arrests are likely,” Additional SP K K Bishnoi, also acting in-charge of Partapur police station told The Indian Express.

According to the FIR, a team of health workers led by Dr Manish Kumar reached Meerut’s Mohiddinpur locality to get 30-year-old Covid-19 positive Sukhbir Singh admitted to a government hospital.
