Meerut: In a shocking incident, a night watchman posted at the main post office in Bulandshahr’s Khurja town was smothered by the killer after they consumed liquor together on Wedneday night. The culprits used a gas cutter to break open the locker in the post office after breaking the main door lock. Police sources said the night watcheman had been hired to exclusively guard the post office.“According to prima facie evidence, it seems that the watchman knew the killer or killers who was/were very well aware of the amount of money kept in the post office. We have taken into the custody all the CCTV recordings for clues,” said the SSP.The body was immediately sent for post-mortem while the forensic team reached the spot to look for clues.
