Food Army gives away grains in six villages

With an aim to celebrate 'Annapurna Din', The Food Army, a charitable group, distributed food grains to six villages in Palghar district. According to the members of the Food Army, they chose to distribute food grains in these villages because there are high infant death rates due to malnutrition. Speaking about the initiative, Rinku Rathod, founder of The Food Army, said, "Apart from food grains, we hope to supply them a year-long stock of sanitary pads.
