Maharashtra government announces Atal Chairs, fellowships in memory of Atal Bihari Vajpayee

A coffee table book would also be brought out by the BJP which would highlight life and contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He informed that ashes and mortal remains of Atalji would be immersed in various rivers in Maharashtra as per Atalji's wish. His ashes would be immersed in 100 rivers all over the country and in Maharashtra, those would be immersed in rivers Savitri, Ulhas, Godavari, Panchaganga, Girna, Krishna, Krishna-Koyna, Mula-Mutha, Chandrabhaga. Mungantiwar informed that Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Prakash Javadekar and BJP state unit president Raosaheb Danve along with a few invitees would speak during condolence meeting. PAYING RESPECTApart from starting ‘Atal Chairs’ at all the thirteen universities in the state, BJP would provide a fellowship of Rs 10 lakh each for 10 students who would pursue their PhD devoting it to the former PM.
