Work on Metro-7 extension to start in six months: MMRDA

Construction work on the extension of the Dahisar East-Andheri East Metro-7 up to the international airport in the south end and Bhayander in the north end is expected to start within six months. Currently, around 50 per cent of civil construction work on Metro-7 is complete and work on track laying is expected to start by end of this year. Confirming the same, an MMRDA official said, "Construction work on both the extensions — around 10km elevated route in the north and 3.5km underground route in the south — is expected to start within next six months..
