100 CCTVs at immersion sites ensure safe fest

NAVI MUMBAI: Nearly 100 CCTV cameras at eight most crowded immersion sites within Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation jurisdiction ensured a safe culmination to the grand Ganeshotsav in the city, as 8779 idols were immersed on the final day. A total of 700 volunteers were on duty at the 23 municipal immersion sites for the festival. This was made possible as we had installed close to 100 CCTV cameras at the 10 most visited immersion sites such as Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, Koparkhairane among others.
