MMRDA to install signages and lane marking on Western Express Highway and Bandra-Kurla Complex

In order to direct motorists better, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to have new signages and lane markings on the Western Express Highway (WEH) and Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). Rajeev said MMRDA is also planning to decongest all the junctions of the WEH in order to make them signal-free. The MMRDA also plans to re-engineer several junctions in WEH to ensure a smooth and hassle-free commute for motorists during peak hours. According to the MMRDA officials, senior officials from the Mumbai Traffic Police and MMRDA had a round of meetings recently wherein several measures to ensure smooth traffic movement on the WEH was discussed.
