BMC budget to grow 10%, roads, drains a priority

In the last budget, the coastal road got Rs 1,500 crore and the GMLR got a token Rs 100 crore.With work on the coastal road project having started, the allocation may be higher this year. The MSDP project could also get more as the BMC is keen on speeding it up.The departments which will continue to remain priority are roads, storm water drain and health.
