Learning scientific temper the lighthearted way

'Anvesha' is an opportunity for children to learn science-based subjects in a fun, interactive way and cultivate scientific curiosity. Almost 15 teachers will lead them through the workshop.Swati Raghunathan, assistant manager, communications at United Way Mumbai said, "The event is part of our HeadStart STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) project. 'Anvesha' means 'quest' or 'curiosity', and we are working to foster scientific curiosity and learning among children from low income private, aided and municipal schools. They will attend a three-hour workshop that aims to encourage scientific temper in a fun, lighthearted manner without the burden of fear of science and maths.The programme ' Anvesha A STEM Carnival ' is devised by the NGO United Way Mumbai (UWM).
