Mumbai: 545 students make Guinness world record by skating for 48 hours straight

545 students set a Guinness world record by skating nonstop for 48 hours in Belgaum, Karnataka. The Shivganga Skating club had earlier organised the largest Khelo India Multi-Activities Skating Marathon for 72 hours, wherein 382 participants covered 8,232 laps on a 200-metre-long skating track. It started on May 31, 2018 and ended on June 3, 2018 at the Shivganga Roller Skating Club, Belgaum. The Shivaganga Skating club organised the largest roller skating session on November 10, 2018 in which skaters from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh took part.
