The device was found in a bag at around 10:15 pm in a state transport bus that was going to Apta from Karjat. Authorities have issued an alert in all ST bus depots in Raigad district following the incident. The device was later disposed by bomb disposal squad in Raigad at 4 am on Thursday. Hours after an explosion took place at Kashimira area on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday, an improvised explosive device (IED) was found inside a State Transport (ST) bus on Wednesday night at Apta village, about 15 km from Panvel.
