Summary:

Though Gandhi is the brainchild of the app, BJP corporator Sunita Mehta stood by him during the initial days. Vipul Shah, a resident of Irla, said the app has connected the common people to day-to-day development works. Mobile app VIA70, developed by a social activist and former Aam Admi Party member Mayank Gandhi, will give the residents of Vile Parle, Andheri and Irla a common platform to discuss various civic crises. “The app has every information about the ongoing works in ward 70,” said Gandhi. “Of the 126 complaints received through the app, 166 have been already addressed, As per residents’ demand, we preferred to construct a toilet instead of a road,” said Mehta..
