61 people died of swine flu across Maharashtra this year

The state public health department stated after a meeting that the number of deaths reported till March 18 in the state is 61. According to a Right to Information (RTI) reply received from civic-run Kasturba Hospital, the number of cases from outside Mumbai are rising this year. Of the 30 cases at the facility, 18 were from outside Mumbai. The highest number has been reported in Nashik district (15) followed by Nagpur (14) and Pune (six)..
