Citizens ready to share personal data for improved infrastructure

A study conducted on around 1,088 citizens, around 68 per cent of the respondents were ready to share their personal data to help city agencies improve the infrastructure of public transport. Mumbaikars are more than willing to share their personal data in exchange for better infrastructure. However, the study did not specify what type of personal data the respondents were willing or not willing to share. The survey was to gauge citizens' willingness to give city agencies access to personal data if deemed relevant for the improvement of infrastructure."
