Maoists strike again, set vehicles on fire in Ettapalli taluka of Maharashtra's Gadchiroli

Maoists set ablaze many vehicles late night on Sunday at Gadchiroli in Maharashtra. On May 1, as many as 27 vehicles belonging to a road construction company were torched by Maoists at Kurkheda in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. They torched several tankers, cement concrete mixture machines and road-rollers on the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna road construction site in the Munganda village of Etapalli Taluka. This is the fourth such incident of vehicle burning in the past 3 weeks in the Gadchiroli district. The targeted vehicles mostly belonged to Amar Infrastructures Ltd., and were engaged in construction works for the Purada-Yerkad sector of NH 136 near Dadapur village..
